Simpson R comes from an outstanding family. His sire, Starnberg, is a beautiful modern stallion that was imported from Germany by Pamela Maine. At just 6 years of age Starnberg was completely nonchalant with piaffe, passage and one-time changes. Simpson R is out of the amazing matriarch broodmare Marge R. Marge R is the mother of some wonderful competition horses. Jude R out of Marge R was purchased at a previous auction by Sue Hearn. Recently at the Young dressage championships on April 20, Jude R was the small tour champion. Sue is a seasoned Grand Prix rider and she feels that Jude R is the best horse that she has ever owned. Rinaldo R, also out of Marge R, is owned and ridden by Grand Prix rider Jessica Clark. Rinaldo at just four years of age is already returning preliminary and novice class scores exceeding 70%. A full baby brother to Rinaldo is Ringo R who is owned by the young rider Matilda Bergen. Both have a big future. Worth noting is that Marge is by Richmeed Medallion who is also the sire of Mystery Whisper who competed at the London Olympics 2012. Simpson is a magnificent individual with wonderful paces and quality enough to be a sensational stallion if required.
